Hey there, everyone! Just wanted to let y'all know I'm still alive. 
For starters, I wanted to give a big, "Hi there, how are you?!" to all of our new members/watchers. I love logging in to see that someone new has discovered my sleepy little group - it gives me a wonderful, warm, fuzzy feeling.
Second, I wanted to remind you that this group DOES accept submission suggestions. So...if, in your DA wanderings, you come across any avatars you think should be featured here, please feel free to submit them.
Just remember that any submissions you make WILL count towards your daily limit of 10, so choose wisely. 
And finally, please don't forget about our "so-close" series. They've ALMOST got their own folders, so lets try to give them the boost they need.
Recent avatar submissions have created folders for both D Gray Man and Vampire Knight. I love creating new folders, so that's just awesome sauce!
Here are the other series that are nearing their "Personal Folder" objective:
Skip Beat is only one avatar away.
Saiyuki, Gintama, Weiss Kreuz, and Wolf's Rain are ALL just 3 avatars away.
Fruits Basket is just 4 avatars away.
Rurouni Kenshin, Azumanga Daioh, Cowboy Bebop, K-ON, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Yotsuba are all half-way there, needing 5 avatars each.
And for anyone who wants to cater to some of my personally favorite fandoms....Fushigi Yugi and Gundam Wing both need 6 to get their own folders. Also Escaflowne, Angel Sanctuary and Full Metal Panic all need 7.

New Group Folder!
Hello everyone! :D First off I just wanted to say a quick welcome to all of the group's new members and watchers. :wave: Thank you, everyone for joining! It's always exciting for me to open up my inbox to see that new people have joined up. :aww:
Also, the main reason for this post is that I've decided to add a new folder for icons that depict original characters. They DO still have to be anime or manga related (i.e. your description should say something about what fandom the OC is from.)
So, please feel free to submit your Original Character (OC) icons to the group, just make sure you put them in the "Original Characters" folder ins
Some Unexpected Changes...
So...apparently one of our group's major contributors got reported to DA. :hmm: I don't know why or for what, but their account has been deactivated and it's caused a few changes here within the group. As many of you know, I try not to start a new folder unless we have 10+ avatars to put in it, and when this particular user's account was deactivated, all of their wonderful icons went with them. :cries: Because of this I had to delete a few folders until our missing member either returns under a different account and does some re-submitting or until someone else steps up to fill in the gaps. *hint, hint* ;P Anyway, here's a quick list
Don't Forget About Favorites! ^_^

So, I thought it might be useful &/or artistically inspiring to know which series in the "Featured" folder are currently close to getting their own folders. :shrug: My thought was if y'all knew about them, it might inspire someone to create something new...or it might encourage someone to submit something from their gallery that they hadn't considered submitting before. :D (hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge) ;P
